JAMMU, Feb 7: State Vigilance Commission on Tuesday  asked the audit team of Jammu and Kashmir Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation (JAKFED) to submit a final status report to the Government for initiating action against officials allegedly involved in misappropriation of funds.

SVC has considered the status report submitted by the Committee of Auditors, an SVC spokesman said.

Following a complaint by S K Bhalla against the officials of JAKFED alleging huge misappropriation of funds, the Government constituted a committee to conduct an audit of the imprest accounts of the officials and finalise a factual report for further action.(Agencies)
