Jammu, February 01: In order to reinvigorate the party activities, PDP President, Mehbooba Mufti today announced appointment of new party Vice President, General Secretaries and reconstitution of the Political Affairs Committee of the Party.
According to the announcement, Mohammad Sartaj Madni has been nominated as Vice President, while as Nizamuddin Bhat, Muhammad Rafi Mir, Ved Mahajan, Mehboob Iqbal, Qazi Afzal and Choudhary Qamar have been nominated as General Secretaries by the Party President.
Mehbooba Mufti has also reconstituted the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of the Party. Those nominated to the PAC include Muzaffar Hussain Baig, S. Rangeel Singh, Muhammad Sartaj Madni, Muhammad Dillawar Mir, Yashpaul Sharma, Peerzada Mansoor Hussain and Asgar Ali.
The PAC would be headed by Party President, Mehbooba Mufti.
The PAC would also include all the General Secretaries and senior ministers as special invitees as and when required.
