Massive Uproar in Assembly over Anti National remarks of CM Mehbooba

JAMMU, Jan 31: Massive uproar by the opposition was made  over the controversy of expunging Chief Minister’s statement over Article 370 and Legislative Assembly was adjourned for day.

BJP MLA from Kathua  , Rajiv Jasrotia earlier in the zero hour demanded that CM’s remarks that those opposing 370 are anti-nationals should be expunged.

This lead to massive uproar in the house and twin adjournments first for 15 minutes and later for 30 minutes.

Speaker  said that the remarks of Chief Minister have not been expunged and  Chief Minister will come to clarify her statement.

The house was adjourned at 12:45 after all the opposition members were shouting slogans in the well and demanding clarification from government.

“Jawab dai Jawab dai, RSS Sarkarr Hai Hai,” opposition was shouting in the house.

Congress MLA Nawang Zingin Jora referred to Mehbooba's anti national remarks for those who oppose special status. 

The Congress MLA said not even a single BJP MLA dared to challange Mehbooba as she made them anti-nationals on the floor of Lower House. 

"The Party has been exposed for double speak," said Jora.

The Former CM , Omar Abdullah said “It speak volumes about the state of health in the ruling alliance which could lead to a crisis pointing at the statement and expunging remarks.”

Later on The Congress MLAs and NC MLAs protested outside the Assembly.
