JAMMU, Jan 21: Jammu and Kashmir Government has declared half day Public holiday on January 22 for historic Ram Temple Consecration Ceremony in Ayodhya, whereas Gaurav Gupta made urge through Statement , Rahil Gupta through facts of News Item.
Gaurav Gupta, former General Secretary of Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jammu, on January 16 had called for the declaration of a public holiday on January 22, 2024 and urged the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, to consider the sentiments of the people and declare January 22 as a public holiday.
On January 20 , Rahil Gupta , Editor Cross Town News and former Member J&K Sports Council and J&K Transport Advisory Committee carried out News Item asking J&K Govt to declare Holiday considering facts where other States and UTs and also private players declaring Holidays .
Pertinent to mention that Both have also put focus on Dry Day in Jammu and Kashmir on January 22, like in other States/UTs.
Gaurav speaking to Cross Town News said he is receiving Congratulatory messages after declaration of Holiday and Rahil Gupta have also received congratulatory messages for various segments of Public.
