Mandeep Bhandari Takes Over Charge Of Principal Secretary To Lt Governor, J&K

Jammu, March 10: Mandeep Bhandhari, IAS officer known for soft spoken attitude & quick disposals on thursday took the charge as Principal Secretary to Lieutenant Governor Jammu and Kashmir.

Previously he had served on prestegious positions in J&K like Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Deputy Commissioner, Jammu , Additional Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board,  Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board , Commissioner/ Secretary, to Government of J&K, Health & Medical Education Department & Divisional Commissioner, Jammu.

Thereafter he went on Central Govt deputation & worked as Private Secretary to  Human Resource Minister, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India & Joint Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.

People are expecting disposal of their long pending issues, which were however ordered by Lt Governor but thereafter none in LG's Office bothered to act on its Action Taken Reports for open non compliance.

Above all is the non compliance of LG's  Administrative Councils Decision No. 17/1/2022 dtd. 29th Jan. 2022, which was followed by Govt Order No.18-JK-(Rev) of 2022 dated. 04.02. 2022 by which DC's of Jammu, Samba & Kathua were directed to decide the issue of Gair Mumkin Khad Lands in a period of 03 months but  13 months lapsed & outcome is known to all, needed to be acted upon with iron hands to give justice to innocents & otherside shall generate Revenue to Govt to the tune of thousand of crore per month by way of Stamp Duty Fee & other taxes.
