JAMMU, Nov 17: J&K Sports Council under Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who is the president of Sports Council, has brought International Cricketers & Matches in Jammu & Kashmir.
Sports Experts in J&K told Cross Town News that it could be termed three way achievement for Sports Council.
First, the coming up of state of the art facilities at MA Stadium , which was completely renovated to match International levels , where number of youth are preapring to bring laurels for J&K in future.
Secondly , group of young sportsperson speaking to CTN said, there were matches of International levels in J&K , in 1983 and 1986 , now after a gap of 27 years , Players of International Repute to play in MA Stadium Jammu , thus boost to Sportsperson, as they will see their role models playing in front of them in their Union Territory.
Whereas insiders said that Sports Council Team headed by Secretary Nuzhat Gull was in talks with Legends league Cricket Authorities from last one year or so to hold the League matches in Jammu and Kashmir.
Businessmen speaking to Cross Town News said that these matches will give Boost not only to Sportperson, but also to local Business & Tourism.
Kunal Mahajan , Textile Businessman in Jammu said with these Legend matches , local products of Jammu will also get chance to be showcased at international level . whether be physical products , food products or other products.
