NEW DELHI, Oct 5: An assistant commissioner of police allegedly shot himself dead at his residence in south east Delhi's Bhogal area.
It said that Anil Kumar Sisodiya, who was posted as ACP headquarters in south west district shot himself using a private revolver.
Pertinent to mention here that Sisodiya's wife died on Monday.
His body was discovered on Wednesday evening after staff of south west district reached his home in Masjid Lane, Bhogal as he was not responding to calls and messages being sent to him.
A detailed inquest proceeding has been started & all aspects are being looked into, police said, adding that Sisodiya used to live at the house along with his wife.
