JAMMU, Sep 28: The Nepali cricket team created several historic moments in their victory against Mongolia at the 19th Asian Games held at the Pingfeng Campus Cricket Field in Hangzhou, China, on Wednesday morning.
Nepal posted a total of 314/3 in 20 overs, setting a new T20 world record in today's match.
Dipendra Singh Airee broke Yuvraj Singh's record for the fastest half-century in T20 Internationals by scoring 50 runs in just nine balls, including eight sixes. Previously, Yuvraj Singh had achieved it in 12 balls against England in the T20 World Cup in 2007.
Airee posted a total of 52 runs in just 10 balls.
