SRINAGAR, Jan 16: Three terrorists were killed on Monday in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district, as per a report.
The encounter broke out last evening between militants and security forces in Kashmir's Pahalgam area of the district.
Acting on specific intelligence input about the presence of militants in Awoora village in Pahalgam area of the district, security forces launched a search operation in the area, the hiding militants fired at them and the security forces retaliated, resulting in an encounter, reports said.
