JAMMU, July 31: The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has upheld the removal of Judicial Officer Naveen Jamwal from service in a job-for-cash case, holding that allegations of accepting money on the promise of securing public employment strike at the root of judicial probity and destroy public faith in the justice delivery system.
A Division Bench comprising Justice Rajnesh Oswal and Justice Sanjay Parihar dismissed the writ petition filed by Jamwal against Government Order No. 2704-JK(LD) of 2022 dated May 20, 2022, through which he was removed from judicial service following a departmental inquiry.
