New Delhi, Jan 15 Army Chief Bipin Rawat today said the trend has had demoralising effect on the troops posted at borders.
Speaking on the occasion of Army Day parade in New Delhi, General Rawat said, "Kuch Saathi Apni Samasya Ko Rakhne Ke Liye Social Media Ka Sahara Le Rahe Hain. Iska Asar Bahadur Jawano Pe Padta Hai Jo Seema Par Hain."
He said, "There are proper channels in place for soldiers to put across their grievances. If they are not satisfied with action taken, they can contact me directly."
Going further, the Army chief warned the soldiers of consequences of going public with their complaint videos. "Aapne Jo Kaarwayi Ki Hai, Aap Uske Liye Apradhjanak Bhi Paaye Ja Sakte Hain Aur Saza Ke Haqdaar Bhi Ho Sakte Hain" Army chief General Bipin Rawat said.(Agencies)
