The chargesheet states that Ali allegedly infiltrated into India from Pakistan to fuel the agitation in Kashmir following killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani and attack security forces, and to carry out terrorist acts across India
The NIA in its chargesheet mentions that an alleged conspiracy was hatched by the Pakistan based terror group, LeT, to commit terrorist attacks in India. The agency’s probe revealed that the LeT is recruiting young men from across Pakistan as part of its conspiracy. These men are allegedly trained and infiltrated into India to commit terrorist attacks.
The NIA said a pocket diary was recovered from Bahadur Ali- also known as Saifullah Mansoor-which contains the names of several towns in J&K, such as Rafiabad, Tangmarg, Poonch, Jammu, Udhampur etc.. Inputs from agencies)
