JAMMU, Sep 20: CBI ACB Jammu arrested three accused in a bribery Case related to release of subsidy under HADP Scheme.
As per details with Cross Town News , an information was received in CBI, ACB, Jammu that accused Rajan Sharma SDAO (Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer), Agriculture Department, Govt. of J&K was demanding a bribe of Rs.35,000/- from the complainant for releasing his subsidy under HADP scheme.
During verification, the demand of bribe of Rs.35,000/- by accused was confirmed, who asked the complainant to handover the bribe amount either to Hit Abhilashi Sharma, AEA (Agriculture Extension Assistant) or to Ashok Kumar, a private person. Accordingly, FIR was registered on 19.09.2026.
During the trap proceedings, two accused were caught red-handed while demanding and accepting bribe from the complainant and the third accused was arrested from his residence. Further Investigation in the case is continuing
