DC Poonch Asks executing agencies to ensure quality of work

 POONCH, SEPTEMBER 21: District Development Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet today impressed upon the executing agencies to strictly adhere to quality specifications and timeline while executing development projects in the district.

The DDC was reviewing the status of development works being executed by PWD, PMGSY, PDD under District Plan, State Plan and CSS, here at a meeting.

During the meeting, the Chief Planning Officer briefed the DDC about the physical and financial progress achieved under different schemes.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the officers to complete infrastructural projects especially roads and important buildings within the set time frame.

The DDC assessed the status of work on the roads being constructed by PWD, PMGSY, including maintenance of Chandimarh to Dogria road, Fatehpur to Haribudda road, Seri Chowna to Seri Buddha Bufliaz to Morha road, Gursai Morha to Gursai Nallah road, Behramgala road, etc., status of bridge i. e. Motorable bridge from Sathra to Bedar road, PHC Loran and different projects and status of various central sponsored schemes and developmental works of the district were discussed in detail.

The concerned departments were directed to furnish updated details of their project/ schemes at the earliest.

The DC directed the CMO Poonch to achieve the target and Sehat registration and issuance of Golden Card by putting in extra efforts. He asked the concerned to complete the works before the start of winter/ Snowfall to save the public from facing any kind of difficulty.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to submit the details of those contractors who have not started the work in the given time frame.

Chief Planning Officer, Madan Lal, Chief Medical Officer, Dr. G. A Malik, Chief Education Officer, engineers of Executive agencies, besides all concerned officers attended the meeting.
