Sports Administrator and Jammu University Academician Ranjeet Kalra has condoled the sad passing away of Sh Upendra Prasad Singh father of Sh Mukesh Singh, ADGP Jammu.Kalra while expressing heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family recalled late Sh Upendra Prasad Singhs love for sports especially cricket. Not many people know that Sh Upendra Prasad Singh was himself a very good player . He would many times come to watch the J&K cricket teams matches played at GGM science ground .
He even attended the Ranji Trophy Quater Final match played between J&K and Karnataka last year..
He was affectionate and encouraged the players .
We shall miss his fatherly presence and advice . May his soul rest in peace ." Kalra added.
