Jammu Sanskriti School shines in national level Debate competition


Jammu: Jammu Sanskriti School shined in national level Debate competition.

The press statement reads “ The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena; whose face is marred by sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotion, spends himself in a worthy cause; who at best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement; and who at worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who have never tasted victory or defeat."

Pertaining to this, the school is ecstatic to share that Sanskritians reached the zenith of their excellence when 23 Sanskritians participated in National Level Debate Competition “Behes” in which they competed against 91 teams and represented Jammu in that prestigious platform. The highlight of the competition was that four of our participants namely Harpreet Kour bagged 22nd position, Chandan Singh bagged 26th position, Rashmi Rajput secured 28th position and Hargun Kour Anand secured 30th position in the best debaters division. Moreover in this cut throat competition all the teams were from different states of India but our two teams based on their splendid performance qualified as additional qualifiers in addition to our 4 other teams which made it to “Maha Behes”. Ms. Munmun Kohli- PGT English coordinated and supervised the progress of the students.

While congratulating the winners and their paents, Ms Rohini Aima : Principal Cum Vice-Chairperson of the school asserted that "Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checked by failure than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat." She also said that in these rampant scenario positivity sinks in to see children performing divinely.”
