Srinagar turning back to normal,Banks open up, Rush on roads

SRINAGAR, Aug 29: Srinagar on Monday looked  like turning back to normal, there was increased movement of private cars and auto-rickshaws on the roads in Srinagar. 

The attendance in government offices improved with a majority of employees reporting for work. The banks were also open and were flooded with customers but schools, colleges and other educational institutions and shops remained closed due to the strike called by separatists groups. 

The separatist camp has extended the strike call in the Valley till September 1.

Divisional Administration of Kashmir had a seigh of relief with Kashmir slowly and steadily turning back to normal.

An official of DivCom office told Cross Town News that DivCom office remained open till late nights on all working days as DivCom Kashmir  was personally monitored the situation of all districts falling under Kashmir province.
