NEW DELHI, May 10:Appointment of IAS Officer Nidhi Chibber as Secretary Food Processing Industries/OSD in Food Processing industries has been cancelled and now has been appointed as Director General , DM&EO, NITI Aayog.
The Order copy with Cross Town News reads " The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved appointment of Ms.Nidhi Chhibber, IAS (CG:94), Additional Secretary, NITI Aayog as Director General,Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office, NITI Aayog in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India by temporarily upgrading the post as a measure personal to the oficer and by keeping the extant recruitment guidelines of the post in abeyance. Her appointment as Oficer on Special Duty, Ministry of Food ProcessingIndustries vide order No. 36/01/2025-EO(SM-1) dated 18.04.2025 stands cancelled. "
