Srinagar, Sep 29: Lieutenant Governor J&K Manoj Sinha congratulated Abdul Samad for IPL debut.
The statement with Cross Town News reads " Lt Governor congratulates Abdul Samad, young cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir, who is playing for SunRisers Hyderabad on his IPL debut today.
He wished him success in the tournament and his career ahead."
Samad played cameo of 12 runs from 7 balls and hit a huge six.
Former CM Omar Abdullah, Advisors to LG Farooq Khan and Baseer Khan, J&Ks representative to BCCI Ranjeet Kalra and former Member J&K Sports Council Rahil Gupta have also congratulated Abdul Samad on his IPL debut.
