New Delhi, July 23: India added a record tally of 42,613 fresh cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday taking the country’s total number to 12,36,696, while recoveries surged to 7,82,275 with 29,883 people having recuperated in a day.
The death toll due to the disease rose to 29,885 with 1,120 people succumbing to the disease in the last 24 hours, the data updated at 9.45 pm showed.
