LAKHANPUR, July 25: Several Sikh leaders and activists from Punjab on way to Kashmir on Monday to express solidarity over Kashmir killings were stopped at Lakhanpur border.
A delegation of over around 60 activistswere stopped at the entry point of J&K around 1 pm by heavy contingent of police.
The delegation was headed by two times MP and Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar President Sardar Simranjit Singh Mann.
Soures told Cross Town News that by the order of ADDC Kathua, the entry of Sardar Simranjit Singh Mann was prohibited in to J&K.
Sikh activists once not allowed, placed Langar at the same place and serving food to nedy people and protesting peacefully.
While talking to Cross Town News at Lakhanpur , actvisits said "If Rajnath SIngh is allowed to enter J&K, why we are not. Are we not the citizens of India"
