Jammu, Jan 23: ACB caught red handed Ramesh Kumar Patwari Halqa Baddu Tehsil Billawar Distt. Kathua while accepting bribe of Rs. 10,000/- from the complainant by adding One more feather in the cap of Revenue Dept.
Anti-Corruption Bureau registered a case against Ramesh Kumar Patwari Halqa Baddu, Billawar, Kathua vide FIR No. 01/2020 at Police Station ACB Jammu under section 7 of Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 2018 r/w Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 on the basis of a complaint lodged by Hukam Chand S/o Mallu Ram R/o Baddu Tehsil Billawar, District Kathua.
2. The Complainant stated in his application that Patwari namely Ramesh Kumar Patwar Halqa Baddu, Billawar demanding bribe amounting Rs. 10,000/- for preparing revenue extract (fard)
3. Accordingly, a team of officers was constituted to lay a trap against the said Patwari which caught the delinquent official red-handed while accepting an amount of Rs 10,000/- by way of illegal gratification from the complainant.
4. Further investigation of the case is going on.
