During his tour, the Lt Governor visited Ancient Buddhist Site Ambaran and Akhnoor Fort and also reviewed the progress of work on Indri Pattan-Pargwal Bridge.
At Akhnoor Fort, the Lt Governor passed on spot directions to the officers for the shifting of PHE OHT out of the heritage area of the fort.
Meanwhile, the Lt Governor interacted with the Chairpersons of Block Development Councils and members of Municipal Committee Akhnoor and listened to their issues and demands.
Sanjeev Verma, Divisional Commissioner Jammu and other senior officers accompanied the Lt Governor.
