District Administration Udhampur organised * Shram daan * and *Project awareness charcha* on bank of Devika River at project site.
Large number of school students , Nehru Yuva Kendra volunteers , Bharat Scout Guides besides councillors of MC Udhampur and other prominent citizens participated.
Deputy Commisoner highlighted the importance of Devika Project and its long term positive impact on the environment which will benefit people of Udhampur. Project status and timelines were also discussed. All councillors of MC Udhampur desired to work voluntarily in Shram Daan activities as will be planned every week by District Administration. It is worth mentioning that in *Clean Devika Campaign* every week Shram Daan activities will be organised at bank of River Devika. Earlier in the program Nukkad Natak prepared especially on Devika Theme highlighted the importance of Devika river and cleanliness in general.
