JAMMU, July 03: Jammu and Kashmir Home Department appointed retired Senior Officer as Special Public Prosecutor to assist the Standing Counsel before the Hon'ble High Court of Punjab and Haryana in connection with the sub-judice bail application(s) filed by accused Shubham Sangra in case CRR No.2596/2023.
The details with Cross Town News reads as " In exercise of the powers conferred under section 18 (8) of Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita 2023, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir hereby appoint Sh. S. Bhupinder Singh (Retd. Joint Director of Prosecution) as Special Public Prosecutor to assist the Standing Counsel before the Hon'ble High Court of Punjab and Haryana in connection with the sub-judice bail application(s) filed by accused Shubham Sangra in case CRR No.2596/2023 titled 'Subham Sangra Vs State of J&K" arising out of FIR No.10/2018 of P/S Hiranagar.
The appointment of aforesaid Special Public Prosecutor will be subject to terms and conditions to be settled by the Home Department in consultation with IGP, Crime, with the approval of Competent Authority."
