MUMBAI, Nov 26: Ahead of  floor test on Wednesday, NCP leader  Ajit Pawar has resigned as the deputy chief minister.

Sources in Maharashtra Political circles told Cross Town News that Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis will hold a media briefing at 3.30 pm today and is likely to tender his resignation.
