
Bhaderwah, June 04: In an initiative to involve the Youth in the Start up India programme, a seminar organized by the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan was inaugurated by Minister of State in PMO, Dr. Jitendra Singh at Community hall Bhaderwah today .
MOS Transport Sunil Sharma, Legislators, Shakti Raj Parihar, Daleep Singh Parihar, Director General NYKS Dilawar Singh, DDC Doda Bhupinder Kumar were also present on the occasion .
The main aim of the programme was to aware the youth of the area about the schemes, incentives, financial assistance for new entrepreneurs. Resource persons from different line departments of the district made a brief presentation about various schemes available with their departments for the benefit and of youths and new entrepreneurs.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Jitendra Singh said that the technological advancement and new market economy has created vast employment avenues and the talented youth of Jammu and Kashmir should be trained to explore these avenues .He exhorted upon the youth to avail the benefits of these schemes and establish their own enterprises to become self reliant. He stressed that the programme envisages empowering the youth and helping them become job providers rather than job seekers
In his address the Minister for transport Mr Sunil Sharma said that the development of the area is the priority of the present government and for its economic growth tourism related activities are being given a fillip to attract more and more tourists.
More than 600 youths from different voluntary organization, colleges, school and others institutions attended the seminar with the aim to get first hand information about different welfare schemes for their benefits
Dr Singh also donated a new vehicle to Jawahar Navodaya vidyalaya, Arnora Ghat, Doda under MPLAD . .

ADDC Doda Mr. Narinder Singh Bali, SSP Doda Mr. Zahid Naseem Manhas, ASP Bhaderwah Sargum Shukla, Zonal Director NYKS Sukhdev Singh , District Youth co-ordination NYKS Doda S. V Kotwal besides others district and sectoral officer were also present on the occasion.
Later Dr Jitendra Singh while addressing the students during his visit to the Govt degree college Bhaderwah asked them to put in dedicated efforts to excel in life and create a niche for themselves .
