Congress committed to equitable development of the State. G.A. Mir


 

SRINAGAR, June 02:Urging Party workers to reach out to the people for resolution of the issues confronting them, JKPCC Chief G.A. Mir described the Congress Party as an instrument of service, duty bound to seek resolution of the issues confronting people, he was addressing a party workers   meeting at Charar I Sharief in District Budgam today.

Earlier, PCC Chief visited the Shrine of Sheikh Nooru U Din Noorani (RA) and paid obeisance. On this occasion he prayed for progress prosperity and overall development of the State and people.

PCC Chief was accompanied by Senior Party functionaries and Legislators.

Speaking on the occasion G.A. Mir described   Congress Party as an instrument of service to the people, which has remained dedicated to the cause of serving the people. He said Congress party believes in strengthening the people and is committed to equitable development of the State.  He said Congress Party   is duty bound to address the urges and aspirations of the people, for the fact, it is the Congress Party alone which  has always taken care of  the urges and aspirations of the people. 

PCC Chief urged upon the party workers reach out to the people with the programmes and policies of the Party. He said  

On this occasion he felt confident that people of the Country and State have realized that it is the Congress Party alone which has served them (people) best and he felt confident that Congress Party being an all-weather friend of the people would continue to strive hard for the overall  development of the State and people

Among others who addressed the gathering included MLC & Vice President G. N. Monga, MLA Haji Ab.Rashid Dar, MLA G. M. Saroori Vice Presidents, MLA & General Secretary Usman Majeed, MLA Gulzar Ahmad Wani, Spokesperson Farooq Andrabi, District President Zahid Hussain Jan, Senior leader G. N. Mir Lasjan, Secretary Irfan Naqib, Abid Kashmiri, Ab. Qayoom Shah, Javed Sultan and others.
