SRINAGAR, June 02: Finance Minister of J&K, Haseeb A Drabu on Thursday announced rolling back of three taxes he proposed in his Budget.
In the budget presented on May 30, Drabu had proposed hike of tax on mobile phones, hosiery and readymade garments and Aviation Fuel required for pilgrim tourism.
Drabu while winding up debate on general 2016-17 budget iaid that government has rolled back proposed tax on these three items.
The lawmakers made a huge stir over the 9 percent increase in the items and demanded a roll back including few MLAs of ruling coalition government.
