DDB Baramulla approves Rs. 231.36 Cr annual plan, Haq chairs meet ; Says DDB institution of empowerment for common people


BARAMULLA, MAY 11- The District Development Board today approved Annual Plan out lay of Rs231.36 crore for District Baramulla for the current financial year. This includes Rs13.47  Crore regular schemes Rs.23. 44 crore as loan,Rs.177. 99 crore capital share and Rs.16. 44 crore as state share . The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Minister for Rural Development,  Law Justice  and Panchayat Raj    Abdul Haq.

The meeting   reviewed the action taken report on the decisions of the last  board meeting  and  took stock of sectoral ,physical  and financial achievements  registered in the District Plan 2015-16.

The meeting was attended by Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Basharat Bukhari, Minister for Information Technology, Youth services  and Sports, Imran Raza  Ansari, MLAs, Javeed Hassan Beige, Mohammad Abass Wani, Haji Abdul Rashid Dar and Yawer Dilawer Mir , MLCs, besides Advisers of various boards,

Addressing the meeting the Minister asked the district administration that no stone should be left unturned in realizing the goals and targets envisaged in annual plan so as to ensure maximum benefits to the people .

The Minister directed the officers that the board decisions should be implemented in letter and spirit. He said that DDB act as institution of empowerment for people and there should be strengthened. 

Earlier DDC Baramulla Yasha Mugdal gave power point presentation of the previous year’s achievements and informed that Rs. 125.91 crore has been utilized on various developmental schemes in the district during last fiscal and said that District Administration will work with zeal and enthusiasm in achieving 100 percent targets for this financial year.
