Doda, May 05 - Minister for transport and Science &Technology Sunil Sharma visited the accident spot at Karara and took stock of the rescue operation going on to search for the bodies of persons who went missing when a tipper they were traveling in skidded off the road and rolled into the river chenab on Wednesday .
The Minister was accompanied by Senior Superintendent of Police Doda Z.N Manhas beside others senior officers of the district.
Sharma directed the district administration to intensify the rescue operation for searching the bodies of missing persons.
The minister while directing ARTO Doda to strictly enforce traffic rules in the district also instructed him to take stringent action including cancellation of registration and driving license of violators of MVA. He also directed for generating mass awareness drive regarding various road safety measures which need to be adopted while driving in hilly areas so that precious human lives are saved.
