RAMBAN, MAY 05 - On the basis of poor performance shown in updating and making necessary corrections in the record prepared for implementing National Food Security Act, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Aijaz initiated action against the officer, here today.
He directed the Assistant Director, CAPD Ramban to withhold Tehsil Supply Officer Batote besides imposing a fine of Rs. 3000/- in the form of pecuniary penalty and incur the same into the account of District Red Cross Society Ramban.
Further, DC has directed the ADDC to submit a report after conducting detailed inquiry into the matter for further action as desired in order to curb the practice of non seriousness by the officers towards the important assignments.
