In last so many years , J&K had been flooded with huge number of funds but somehow these funds could not be utilized in optimum way and development in J&K could not reach to the levels it could have.
Jammu & Kashmir has the natural beauty and that can strongly stand as a pillar for economy of J&K , which Tourism had been all over these years. But with time there needs to be improvement in overall Tourism infrastructure of the state.
J&K has got immense funds from the Centre and will get even more funds in coming years but there is need to show diligence in distributing funds in different areas of J&K and then those funds needs to utilized in the right way to get the development across the state from roads to varied infrastructure and at the same time creating better Tourist infrastructure for three regions of Jammu , Kashmir and Ladakh.
All the Tourist spots need to have good road network and infrastructure at these spots from Hotels to Restaurants , as this will help in building additional/alternative tourist spots and that in turn can lead to increase in number of tourist visiting Jammu & Kashmir.
J&K is blessed with Natural Beauty and Religious Tourism but now professionalism of highest level is required to get the approach more global oriented rather than being scattered around the park.
CM Mehbooba Mufti who holds the charge of Tourism Ministry , has shown keenness to develop modern Tourist spots , for that she needs to get all the allied departments to speed works around the spots and give better quality outcomes.
