Three headmasters, eight teachers suspended over dismal results in class 10 exam


Srinagar, Jan 8: The chief education officer, Srinagar has suspended Headmaster government boys high school Nowhatta, BHS New Theed and BHS Saidpora over zero percent pass percentage in the class 10th exams.

Two social studies and one science teacher from Nowhatta high school have been also put under suspension for zero pass percentage. As already reported by Greater Kashmir, only one candidate from BHS Nowhatta had appeared in class 10th exams and was declared as failed.

< p style="margin: 1em 0px; color: rgb(62, 62, 62); font-family: Arial; font-size: 15px;"> Two science teachers from BHS Rainawari and one from BHS Padshahibagh have been also placed under suspension. The overall pass percentage at BHS Rainawari and BHS Padshahibagh was 13.33 and 17 percent respectively.

Two social studies teachers from BHS New Theed have been also put under suspension.

The order further reads that the staff members who have been suspended should be deployed for the remedial classes for the students. All arrangements on account of remedial classes are to be made by poor performing teaching staff of the schools.
