SRINAGAR,Aug 13: The Government today reconstituted Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council (SSC) .
The Council comprises of 29 members with Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed as President and Minister for Youth Services & Sports, Moulvi Imran Raza Ansari as the Vice-President. Rahil Gupta, Mehboob Iqbal (Retd IAS) , International Cricketer Parvez Rasool and Footballer Arun Malhotra were nominated as members.
Rahil Gupta , Editor in Chief of Cross Town News is known for his strategicall skills for his ventures like Coffeee9 , Cross Town News, where Coffeee 9 became first café chain from J&K to get International operations. Rahil is top rated Journalist in J&K with immense focus on Sports coverage and was a Distrcit level cricketer. Gupta is also on Board of J&K Transport Advisory Committee as Member.
According to an order issued today, there will be four ex-officio members including Administrative Secretaries of Planning & Development Department, Finance Department, Youth Services & Sports and Director General Youth Services & Sports. The other members include Rifat Abdul, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Wahid Parra, Javed Shah, Bari Indrabi, Arjun Choudhary, Fida Hussain, Gyal Punchok Wangyal, Krupalli Singh, Bilquees Mir, Sidharth Sharma, Rouf Tramboo, Ranjit Kalra, Jameel Thakur, Prof B A Shah, Rashid Choudhary, Nazir Ahmed, Mohd Amin Khan and Rajinder Singh.
