JAMMU, Mar 17: District Development Commissioner Jammu, Simrandeep Singh today distributed cheques among 82 beneficiaries for setting up dairy units under the Scheme ‘Special Central Assistance to Scheduled Caste Sub Plan’ (SCA to SCSP) 2015-16 during a programme organized by the department of Animal Husbandry at Belicharana.
Under the scheme, Rs. 20,000 each were given away as cash incentive which was directly credited into the respective accounts of beneficiaries for purchase of Dairy Animals, one Chaff Cutter, Feed and Mineral Mixture required for establishment of such units.
Among others, Director Animal Husbandry Department Jammu, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer and other concerned officers were present on the occasion.
