SRINAGAR, Feb 08: Five-day National Taekwondo championship in which 12 students from Jammu and Kashmir participated concluded in Rani Jhansi, New Delhi yesterday.
In the competition 12 students from the state, including seven boys and five girls, won three gold and two silver medals and a cash prize of Rs 12,000.
To give boost to martial arts in the state, second International Kashmir Gold Cup will be held in May 2016 at Sheri-Kashmir Indoor Stadium, in which gold medalists from various parts of India will participate.
