JAMMU, Aug 7:In a significant move Auqaf Islamia Jammu took over the administration and control of Jammu Public School from Jammu Muslim Education Society, the current management. The School will now be run and administered by Auqaf Islamia Jammu.
The decision of taking over the school has been made at the directions of Jb.Abdul Rehman Veeri, Minister for Haj andAuqaf. The move is aimed at improving the standard of Education in the said school and to provide education to poor and downtrodden children of beneficiary community. The School is being run from Luthra Building near D.C.Office Jammu. Auqaf Islamia Jammu is however looking for suitable alternate accommodation for Jammu Public School in same on nearby vicinity so that better facilities are provided to students.
