Growth of 20% in Revenue Collected by J&K Commercial Tax Deptt in December


Governor delegates powers to J&K Administrative Secretaries

JAMMU, Jan  14: The revenue collected by commercial Taxes Department has witnessed a growth of more than 20% during the month of December ,2015 as compared to the collections made during the corresponding period of last financial year.

While Speaking to Cross Town News, Commissioner Commercial Taxes J&K,  Baseer Khan said that his agenda is clear that he will take strict actions against Tax evaders. Khan said people should pay taxes to the government honestly as end of the day it will be used for them only.

Enroute checking of goods has been enhanced to curb any clandestine imports, but simultaneously ensuring that no honest taxpayer is harassed unnecessarily.
