Jammu, Oct 03: DIQC, Jal Shakti Department J&K held its 7 th online session on “Knowledge Sharing and Ideation”, on 03.10.2026. During the workshop, Er. Rohit Manhas, AE MICD Jammu made a detailed and elaborative presentation on the “Design of Lift Irrigation Schemes” which familiarised the engineers with the basic concepts of such schemes.
Prior to the presentation, Er. Sunil Singh, AEE IFC Department Jammu updated the participants about the use of online applications which are very useful for gathering forecast information about the upcoming rainfall events.
Er. Sunil Singh recently completed a training on Glacial Lake Outburst Floods (GLOF) at Delhi for which he was nominated by Jal Shakti Department along with other engineers.
