Jammu, Oct 03: SP Rural Jammu has warned after a fake social-media profile was created using his name and identity, cautioning people against responding to messages or requests originating from the account.
In a warning circulated on social sites, the officer urged people not to accept requests, share personal information or engage with the suspicious account, and advised them to report and block the profile immediately.
A screenshot accompanying the warning shows a profile operating under the name “Singh Ravinderr SP”, with 58 friends, one mutual connection and three posts. The account appears to use the officer’s name and photographs.
