SRINAGAR, Sept 28: BJP MLA RS Pathania submitted a no-confidence notice against Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather during the ongoing proceedings of the House.
Pathania conveyed the party’s decision to Rather and formally placed the notice before the Speaker.
The motion seeks Rather’s removal from the post.
Responding to the notice, Rather said it would be taken up in the business of the House and processed in accordance with the prescribed rules and procedure.
