JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 26: As part of its ongoing awareness initiatives, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Jammu and Kashmir has introduced a special internship programme for law students from reputed universities across the Union Territory.
Under the initiative, selected law students will be attached with various government departments to gain practical exposure to their functioning and understand the processes involved in public service delivery.
The programme is aimed at familiarising young law students with the functioning of government institutions and providing them an opportunity to observe administrative processes and understand the importance of transparency and accountability in public dealings.
The participating students were separately briefed about the programme by the Director, ACB, Shakti Pathak at Jammu and Srinagar.
During the interaction, the Director explained the internship process, responsibilities of the interns and the manner in which they would undertake their assigned activities.
The initiative seeks to provide students with meaningful practical exposure while promoting greater awareness about institutional processes, public administration and the importance of transparent public service delivery.
