JAMMU, Sep 26: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Jammu successfully concluded Hindi Pakhwada, organised with the objective of promoting the use of Hindi in official communication and encouraging greater appreciation for the language among faculty, staff and students.
The three-day programme witnessed enthusiastic participation through a range of engaging and creative activities, including poster-making, poetry writing, essay writing and other Hindi-based competitions and activities. The events provided participants with an opportunity to express their creativity, strengthen their confidence and celebrate the richness of the Hindi language. The active participation of faculty, staff and students reflected the spirit of togetherness and enthusiasm within the institution. On the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev Sinha, Executive Director & CEO, AIIMS Jammu, highlighted the importance of keeping the spirit of Hindi alive beyond formal observances.
He said that language is not merely a means of communication but also an important medium of expression, connection and cultural identity. He encouraged everyone to use Hindi wherever they can express themselves comfortably in the language, while continuing to respect and value all other languages. He further emphasised that initiatives such as Hindi Pakhwada provide an opportunity to bring people together, encourage creativity and strengthen a sense of participation within the institution. The concluding ceremony marked the culmination of the three-day celebrations and recognised the enthusiasm and creative contributions of the participants.
The programme concluded with appreciation for all those who contributed to making Hindi Pakhwada a meaningful and engaging institutional initiative.
