SRINAGAR, Sep 12: Ahead of the upcoming autumn session of the Jammu Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather has constituted the Business Advisory Committee (BAC).
According to a notification, the committee comprises legislators from different political parties and has been constituted under Rule 317 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Legislative Assembly of Jammu & Kashmir.
The BAC includes Leader of Opposition Sunil Kumar Sharma (BJP), Ali Muhammad Sagar (NC), Mubarak Gul (NC), Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami (CPI‑M), Ghulam Ahmad Mir (Congress), Sajad Gani Lone (PC), and Choudhary Muhammad Akram (Independent).
The Business Advisory Committee is entrusted with recommending the allocation of time for discussion on Government Bills and other business referred to it by the Speaker.
