JAMMU, Sep 05: Jammu and Kashmir Government ordered placement of Sundeep Singh Sodhi as Assistant Engineer.
The Order copy with Cross Town News reads "In continuation to the Government Order No.157-PW(R&B) of 2026 dated07.05.2026, sanction is hereby accorded to the placement of Sh. Sundeep Singh SodhiJunior Engineer (Mechanical) Diploma Holder as In-charge Assistant Engineer(Mechanical) in his own pay and grade, with immediate effect, as per the provisions ofJ&K Engineering (Gazetted) Service Recruitment rules, 1978 as amended.
The above arrangement shall be subject to the following conditions:
a. That this arrangement shall be an interim one, purely temporary (stop gap) innature, without conferring any preferential right to claim substantivepromotion/regularization/confirmation, which shall be made strictly as per theRecruitment Rules and as per other eligibility conditions prescribed thereofthrough DPC/J&KPSC.
b. That this arrangement shall be subject to outcome of writ petition(s) pending, ifany, before any Competent Court(s) of law.
c. The arrangement shall be reversible without any prior notice, if any adversereport is received from any agency and also any superior claim of any left outEngineer of the relevant quota, if found genuine, later on.
Consequent upon the above placement, the engineer shall continue at hispresent place of posting till further orders.
Charge allowance as admissible under rulesas envisaged in the Circular issued under endorsement No. FD-Code/144/2025-A-853dated 27.03.2026 by the Finance Department is also sanctioned in respect of theengineer. "
