JAMMU, Aug 18: Jammu and Kashmir Government suspended Er Liyaqat Javid Sheikh Gojar, Assistant Engineer, PMGSY Division Thathri, after arrest by the CBI, ACB, Jammu in case No. RC0042026A0008.
The Order copy with Cross Town News reads "In terms of Rule 31 of J&K Civil Service (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1956, Er. Liyaqat Javid Sheikh Gojar, Assistant Engineer, PMGSY Division Thathri shall be deemed to have been placed under suspension with effect from the date of his arrest i.e. 16.07.2026 by the CBI, ACB, Jammu.
During the period of his suspension, he shall remain attached in the office of Superintending Engineer, PW(R&B) Circle, Doda- Kishtwar and shall be entitled to subsistence allowance @ 50% (half pay and half dearness allowance) in terms of Article 108-A of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Service Regulations, 1956."
