Bengaluru, Aug 17: A Senior Health Inspector in Bengaluru North City Corporation’s Yelahanka Division, has been suspended with immediate effect over an alleged bribe demand from a salon owner for trade licence and health inspection-related work.
The action was taken under Rule 10(1)(a) of CCA Rules, 1957.
As he was on deputation, Municipal Administration Department has been asked to confirm the suspension and take further action.
