JAMMU, Aug 16: The Anti-Corruption Bureau, Jammu, has sought a factual verification report from the J&K Sports Council, Departmental Vigilance Officer, Srinagar, in connection with allegations raised by a complainant regarding S.O. 12, the provisional merit list, recognition of sports disciplines, and the allocation of benefits and appointments under the sports quota framework in Jammu and Kashmir.
As per the communication issued by the Senior Superintendent of Police, ACB Jammu, the complainant has alleged that names of candidates associated with certain sports have been included in the merit lists despite the concerned sports allegedly lacking proper recognition, regulatory structure or a verifiable competitive framework.
