SRINAGAR, Aug 14: A cloudburst in the Pahalgam area triggered a flash flood on Friday evening, damaging a temporary road at Awoora and forcing authorities to suspend traffic on the Bijbehara-Kuller-Pahalgam route.
The cloudburst struck Nallah Awoora, triggering a sudden surge in water that washed away the makeshift road constructed at Awoora.
The damage has disrupted vehicular movement along the Bijbehara-Kuller-Pahalgam stretch, with authorities advising commuters to avoid the route until restoration work is completed.
